Dr Adrian Sciberras, FCCA, MIA, CPA, LL.B.(Hons)(Melit.), M. Adv (Melit.), founder and business partner of A+A Assurance Services Ltd, is a certified public accountant, entrepreneur and advocate. He was born in 1980 and received his education at St Aloysius College. Dr Sciberras brings over years of experience in the accountancy field and in helping clients achieve business success by helping them establish practical and sound tax and financial processes. As a founder and business partner of the group of companies, he is an all-rounder in the financial and property sectors. He gained his Accounting degree in 2003 whilst working in the private sector and then moved onto setting up his own businesses in 2009. Later in 2018, he graduated in law with an LL.B.(Hons)(Melit.) and completed a Master of Advocacy degree the following year, in 2019. He then furthered law practice with an established local law firm, leading him to become a warranted lawyer in 2020.

Throughout the years he has gained extensive accounting services experience and expertise in individual, corporate, partnerships, auditing and tax reports. In addition, Dr Sciberras has expertise in company management, international corporate structures and business consulting. His experiences go beyond the local scene due to his various business connections in Italy and especially in Libya, where he served as a bridge to create business setups between the countries.

Dr Adrian Sciberras is a fellow member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in the UK and speaks fluently Maltese, English and Italian. Throughout his career, Adrian continues showing long-term commitment to professionalism and ethics.

Nicholas Vella, B.Accty (Hons), MIA, CPA
Managing Director

Nicholas Vella is a certified public accountant with a practising certificate in auditing. He joined A+A Assurance Services Ltd after previously working with a Big Four audit firm. Nicholas, a very analytical and organised person with an eye for detail, has extensive hands-on experience in financial audits, accounting and tax planning, as well as servicing local and international clients.

His experience in carrying out and leading large audit engagements from start to finish helped in gaining knowledge about internal business processes and business risk exposures. As a result, through his versatility, he serves his clients in all their accountancy, auditing, and tax planning needs.

Nicholas holds a degree in accountancy from the University of Malta and also holds a Diploma in Taxation from the Malta Institute of Taxation. He is also a member of the Malta Institute of Accountants and the Malta Institute of Taxation.

Richard Falzon
Audit Executive

 

Richard Falzon is an Audit Executive at A+A Assurance Services Limited, responsible for audits of financial statements as well as assisting with corporate tax returns. This role allows him to gain a better insight of the different types of industries. Richard brings along with him over 10 years experience in local wholesale business where he performed a variety of tasks which gave him vast experience and knowledge in warehouse management, sales, administration work, invoicing and bookkeeping, among others.

He is currently in his final steps towards achieving his career goal, that of finalising his studies and obtaining the ACCA qualification.

Richard is a good listener with an interest in learning about different things. He speaks fluently Maltese and English.

Marica Bonello
Auditor

Marica Bonello joined the A+A Assurance Services team in the capacity of auditor in mid-2019. She is in possession of an AAT qualification and she is currently studying to fulfill her career goal, that of completing all studies and achieve the ACCA qualification. Prior to joining A+A Assurance Services Ltd, Marica worked for 10 years in another firm.

Marica is an outgoing person who can make friends easily and is always ready to lend a hand when needed. She speaks fluently Maltese and English and has basic working knowledge of Italian.
